Fernando Sabino was a Brazilian writer born on October 12th, 1923 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. He was part of a group of writers known as the Generation of '45, who were known for their critical and analytical style. Sabino began to write at an early age, publishing his first book, "The Enchanted Boy", when he was just 21 years old. He went on to write numerous novels and short stories, often drawing on his own experiences growing up in Minas Gerais. Some of his most famous works include "Weekend in Guarapari," "The Great Art of Living," and "The Girl from the Interior." Sabino passed away on October 11th, 2004, leaving behind a legacy as one of Brazil's most celebrated writers.
